Product overview

The Eco Floor Underfloor heating system This is an innovative complete set, ideally suited for the renovation of older buildings. With a particularly low installation height of only 18 mm, the system can be easily integrated to reinforce or completely replace old wooden floorboards.

The MDF-Underfloor heating system It impresses with its versatile application as underfloor, wall or ceiling heating and is therefore also ideally suited for difficult rooms, such as sloping ceilings.

Features and benefits

The robust base plate made of medium-density wood fiberboard (MDF) offers space for a 12 mm plastic pipe thanks to its special milling pattern, which can be used in various heating circuits. Its high density and moisture resistance ensure a durable and stable construction.

Another special feature is the possibility of providing the pipe guide grooves with a leveling compound or a thin top plate, so that a smooth surface and increased stability are achieved.

Technical specifications at a glance

The system is based on a MDF board With dimensions of 1200 mm x 600 mm x 18 mm, and a tensile strength of 0.75 N/mm² and a flexural strength of 30 N/mm² according to DIN EN 319 and DIN EN 310, this panel provides an optimal base for heating.

The thermal conductivity is 0.14 W/mK, while the generated heat output is between 60 and 80 W/m². The flexible 5-layer, all-plastic composite pipe made of PE-RT (12x2 mm) supports the effective distribution of heat within the system.

Assembly instructions and installation notes

The system is installed seamlessly thanks to the integrated milling pattern in the base plate. It is important to maintain a wall clearance of 5-10 mm to accommodate any expansion and to fix the base plates using standard wood screws.

The heating pipe is then inserted into the milled pattern and limited to a maximum length of 80 m per heating circuit. The heating pipes are connected via a self-sealing compression fitting, which guarantees simple and safe installation.

Applications and versatility

The MDF surface heating system can be used not only as underfloor heating, but also as wall or ceiling heating. This versatility allows for optimal benefit from efficient heat in various rooms and under different structural conditions.

Especially in the renovation of old buildings, the system offers a modern solution to increase living comfort while preserving or renewing existing building fabric.
